As a kid growing up in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky I was always drawn to the older adults in our community. It was a characteristic that led me to a job in assisted living for my entire college career and pushed me toward a career in medicine. Now as a Family Physician with a passion for Geriatrics I want to give back to my community.
Throughout my time with this special group I have experienced first hand the tragic effects of Alzheimer’s disease – a disease that rips away the memories and final years of our own family members, friends and neighbors. A disease which impacts more than 5 million Americans and is diagnosed once every 66 seconds in the U.S. Together we can fight for a cure and care for those affected today by supporting the Alzheimer's Association.
This event has been supported by so many wonderful people in our community. Together we created Mimosas for Memories in 2016. Now the event returns for its fourth annual year in Cincinnati, will you join us?
